Q + A

Q: Are kids allowed?

A: Yes, they are allowed! The resort's kid-friendly and your kids are also welcome to come to our ceremony. But the rest of the evening will be "adults only," for which we recommend securing childcare. We know some of you've already made provisions for this; if that’s not possible for you it’s probably best for your little ones to remain stateside ("little ones" = 10 and under). If you have questions, reach out!

Q: Can I check in on Saturday instead of Friday?

A: No. This is a requirement of the beach resort. They don't allow check-in (or out) on Saturdays. Their only requirement is no arrivals or departures on Saturdays.

Q: What about that article I read that says I need a visa to travel to Europe in 2024?

A: There’s a new article in town, you won’t need a travel visa to visit Europe in October of 2024. Yay!

Q: Do I have to stay at the resort? What if I want to stay downtown in Barcelona?

A: We recommend the resort; after all, we’ve organized everything for convenience. Full disclosure, we picked this venue (aside from being, y’know, a castle) because accommodations were a 2 minute walk away, making more events possible throughout the weekend to maximize celebration together. That said, we do recommend spending time in Barcelona before or after the weekend. It is magical.

Q: What is the weather like in Barcelona in October?

A: Lovely and mild. Think mid-70’s during the day. Bring a jacket for nighttime.

Q: Do I need an adapter to charge my gadgets in Spain?

A: Yes. The resort does not provide adapters. This one is inexpensive and very packable!

Q: What is "Black Tie" for K+J?!? OMG, Do I have to wear a tux?!

A: Black Tie means - Dress up with a Capital D. We are in a castle, people. But you don't have to run out and buy a tux. Nice suits are okay. Will we be mad if you show up wearing a tux? Absolutely not.
