From the bottom of our hearts - thank you, thank you, thank you for flying over land and sea to celebrate with us. We know it takes a significant amount of planning and investment, and it is the absolute best gift you will ever give us. In exchange, we hope to provide you with a magical, meaningful weekend.
HERE is a Google doc where you can add your flight details if you would like this way anyone can see if anyone else is coming or going at the same time to partner up and share cabs.

ARRIVAL TO TAMARIT BEACH RESORT

Whether you are coming to the beach resort from the BCN airport or downtown Barcelona, there are several options and they are all great and will just vary in price and convenience.

1. Car Rental (they drive on the right side of the road, same as the U.S., and parking's available at the resort)

2. Taxi/Uber Enough said. There is a grocery store and everything else you might need at the resort (including bikes you can rent for nearby ventures). Yay!

3. Train - Camp Tarragona Train Station is the stop you want to travel to from Barcelona. The resort has told us there are a lot of taxis there and they can pick you up and take you to the resort. You will take a train from Barcelona-Sants to Camp Tarragona. Trains leave throughout the day every 30 minutes or so. The prices vary based on times of day. Here is the link to Rail Europe: https://www.raileurope.com/en-us/selections/19798094/edit.

4. Beach Resort Shuttle - Tamarit Beach resort does have a transfer shuttle with capacity for 6 people + luggage.

If someone wants to book the Tamarit Beach Resort transfer, the transfer information it’s through the following link: https://www.tamarit.com/en/news/tamarit-beach-resort-launches-its-sustainable-transfer-service/114

Check-In: Friday, October 11, 2024 | Check-Out: Tuesday, October 15, 2024

This hotel's check-in is at 5 pm ON FRIDAY and they do not allow check-in or check-out on Saturdays.

When you see the prices for each bungalow that is the TOTAL price for all the nights (not the price per night). Huzzah.

To reserve a bungalow you only need to make a 35% deposit. If you need to cancel, just do so a month (or more) before your stay and you get 95% of your deposit refunded. So the fast math is you might be out $20 to hold your place.

The website is pretty intuitive. There is an English setting which you can find in the top right-hand corner.

The resort is located next door to the castle where the wedding is being held. It is a 3-minute walk between the two. You can also add on a bike rental to your reservation if you want to bike around the resort and the countryside.

If you have any issues with your reservation or you would like to extend your stay, you can email resort@tamarit.com - they are promptly responsive, and they will take care of you. Tell them you are part of the Danish/Coleman Wedding Block.

Josep Tarradellas Barcelona-El Prat Airport

This is the airport you want to fly into. BCN is a major airport and budget flights go from the US to BCN regularly. BCN is about 50 minutes from Tarragona. There are many options for getting from BCN to Tarragona, see below:

Level Airlines

This is a newer budget airline. It was recommended to us by a friend who lives part-time in NYC and part-time in Barcelona. He has flown it a few times and says it does the job and is a decent airline to fly. We personally have not flown this airline, but Level prices are great. They don't seem to have Oct 2024 flights listed just yet (only through September right now) but look out for it in the coming weeks. We typically use DELTA or IBERIA, and Delta does have refundable fare options.
